Privacy & Security
Your PowerPoint file never leaves your device. All parsing and conversion happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do not upload, store, or analyze your files. No server processing, no third-party access.
Limitations
This tool extracts text and embedded images from PPTX slides and renders them for PDF export. Complex animations, transitions, embedded video/audio, SmartArt graphics, and advanced chart data are not preserved. For best results with text-heavy presentations, the output will closely match your original slides.
FAQ
Will my PowerPoint file be uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your PPTX file never leaves your device. We do not have access to your files.
Does this work with older .ppt files?
This tool supports .pptx (PowerPoint 2007 and later). Older .ppt binary format files are not supported. You can open them in PowerPoint and re-save as .pptx first.
Will animations and transitions be preserved?
No. PDF is a static format. Animations, transitions, and embedded video/audio are not preserved. The tool extracts the static content (text and images) from each slide.
How do I get the actual PDF file?
After conversion, a print dialog opens automatically. Select 'Save as PDF' (or 'Microsoft Print to PDF' on Windows) as the destination, then click Print/Save. The result is a standard PDF file.
Are charts and SmartArt preserved?
Complex charts, SmartArt, and OLE objects may not render accurately. The tool extracts text and embedded images from slides. For best results with data-heavy slides, consider exporting charts as images first.
Is there a file size limit?
Files up to 50 MB work reliably in most browsers. Larger files may be slow or exceed browser memory limits. For very large presentations, consider splitting into smaller files first.
Does this work on mobile?
The tool works on mobile browsers, but the print-to-PDF step may vary by device. On iOS, use the Share menu > 'Save to Files' after preview. On Android, use 'Save as PDF' in the print dialog.
Can I select specific slides to convert?
Currently the tool converts the entire presentation. If you need specific slides only, save those slides as a separate PPTX file first, then convert.
